Maria Smith has 15-plus years of experience in contract development and manufacturing operation of orally inhaled and nasal drug products. She has extensive knowledge in spray characterization, specializing in method development and evaluation. She works with industry leaders and key opinion leaders on numerous nasal and oral spray devices and has used this expertise to assist in over 10 successful combination NDA products submissions. Maria has applied her knowledge and understanding within the R&D space and created a best-in-class spray characterization laboratory. Maria has co-authored 10+ publications on spray characterization and is well known across the industry.
